The Wyoming Supreme Court has officially reinstated attorney Cody M. Jerabek to the practice of law, concluding a three-year suspension that began in late 2022. The decision, issued on December 11, 2025, followed a recommendation from the Board of Professional Responsibility (BPR).
The Court’s order signifies the successful completion of the disciplinary period imposed on Jerabek following an earlier ruling concerning professional misconduct.
Background of the Suspension
Cody M. Jerabek, identified by Wyoming State Bar (WSB) number 7-5758, was initially suspended from practicing law by the Supreme Court in an order dated October 26, 2022. That suspension officially commenced on December 15, 2022, and was set to last for three years. The original disciplinary action stemmed from matters docketed under D-22-0003 and D-22-0004.
Under the Wyoming Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, specifically Rule 22(b), an attorney suspended for a fixed period may seek reinstatement once that period has elapsed or is nearing completion.
The Reinstatement Process
Jerabek sought reinstatement following the conclusion of his suspension term. The process involved review by a panel of the Board of Professional Responsibility.
On November 19, 2025, the BPR review panel filed its “Report and Recommendation for Reinstatement of Attorney” with the Supreme Court. This recommendation was made pursuant to a stipulation—an agreement reached between the BPR and Jerabek regarding the terms and approval of his return to practice.
The Supreme Court noted that it conducted a careful review of this Report and Recommendation, alongside the entire file pertaining to the case.
The Court’s Decision
In its formal order dated December 11, 2025, the Wyoming Supreme Court determined that the BPR’s recommendation should be “approved, confirmed and adopted.”
The key outcome is that Respondent Cody M. Jerabek is immediately reinstated to practice law in Wyoming. The reinstatement is effective immediately upon the issuance of the order.
Publication and Record Keeping
The Court took specific steps to ensure the reinstatement order is properly documented and publicized.
Pursuant to Rule 9(b) of the Wyoming Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, the order, along with the incorporated Report and Recommendation for Reinstatement, must be published in both the Wyoming Reporter and the Pacific Reporter. This ensures that members of the public and the bar are aware of the change in Jerabek’s status.
Furthermore, the Clerk of the Supreme Court was directed to docket the reinstatement order as a public record, making it accessible for review. The Clerk is also responsible for officially transmitting copies of the order to the members of the Board of Professional Responsibility and to the clerks of all appropriate courts across Wyoming.
The order was signed by Chief Justice Lynne Boomgaarden on December 11, 2025.
